once again the muppet is causing me Medical Anxiety! just had to drop over $300 on an emergency vet visit because of worrisome poops, and I'd like to take her in to her regular vet for some proper bloodwork/urinalysis, since i couldn't afford to do those at the emergency vet 🙃

i know this is a bit crazy but here's some lore on the chatter! (tonyah don't get attached to a one off character and don't make up insane lore that makes no sense challenge (failed miserably))

Chatterboxes or Parrots(local dialect) Parrots are a relatively recently developed subspecies of vultures. They disguise as their primary prey - slugcats - and generally take form of a much weaker vulture.

Parrots can't use their wings as hands, although they can use them for grabbing poles, so they catch their prey directly with their mouth. Prey still can wiggle out until enough damage is caused by parrot's bites.

They also move a lot like vultures - they have pretty flexible, although shorter, necks, and they use it accordingly.

Parrots don't have weird mask-based detection like cultures, and although they get VERY hostile over prey, generally they don't fight.

Parrots cannot use actual speech or comprehend it, but they can mimic sounds they record.

parrots are officially natural to regions around Good Things Happen, which for now you can imagine as just different outer expanse-esque region (for now.)

they also don't migrate that naturally but the chatter is my weird little bird. they developed empathy for their prey and are struggling a lot now because of it. they do eat other prey, but slugcats were their favourite...so sad they feel bad about attacking them now. they also are the reason SOME terrarium scugs are in blooming terrarium now. just yoinked bells and coal. don't bother much about it.
